A 17 year- old boy has died in Nyamira County after being beaten by his sibling and parents over missing sh 50.
According to police, the incident occurred in Iganeitambe village after the deceased’s elder brother reported his Sh50 was missing and the suspect was his younger brother.
This led the brother to start a fight with the deceased before their parents joined in the beating, police said.
After the fight, the form four boy fell unconscious and was rushed to the hospital by the trio where he died.
The police were called to the hospital and established the boy had injuries on the knee, forehead and waist.
The trio was arrested and detained ahead of possible arraignment as police said the death was ruled out as murder.
Police moved to court seeking to detain them for a week as they conduct an autopsy on the body as part of the probe into the incident.
