The public service commission of Kenya has disowned the job advertisement
This job advertisement shared on Facebook supposedly from the Public Service Commission of Kenya (PSC) is FAKE.
The document dated 31 July 2023 claims that PSC is offering 8,000 jobs and internship opportunities across different departments.
The advertised vacancies include, auditors, social workers, cooks, cleaners and nurses among others.
To confirm the poster’s authenticity,we checked the commission’s website and its verified Facebook page, but the advert was non-existent.
On 31 July 2023, PSC disowned the document and urged the public to disregard it.
“It has come to our attention that some unscrupulous individuals are circulating FAKE job advertisements on Social Media falsely claiming to be originating from the Public Service Commission (PSC).
“These ads are designed to deceive and exploit innocent job seekers. We urge members of the public to always fact-check job adverts on our website or official social media platforms,” PSC said.
