These are houses on the outskirts of San Francisco, USA.
This Facebook post purportedly showing affordable housing in Nakuru County, Kenya is FALSE.
Published on 8 August 2023, the post alleges that the colourful houses on the picture are located in Nakuru County.
“Affordable housing in Kenya,,This is Nakuru,” the post reads.
A reverse image search conducted on tineye showed that Shutterstock had depicted the houses to be on the outskirts of San Francisco, USA.
We also established that the photo had been published by yourgreenpal.com, who indicated that the houses are in Daly City in San Mateo County, on the outskirts of San Francisco.
A June 2023 debunk by PesaCheck also confirmed that the photo is not from Kenya.
Mtoto News investigated a photo shared on Facebook purportedly showing affordable housing in Nakuru County, Kenya and found it to be FALSE.
