This post on X (formerly Twitter) with a photo purportedly showing Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua engaging in martial arts training is FALSE.
The post accompanying the image reads “the DP Gachagua himself was seen today trying kungfu training.”
A careful inspection of the image shows irregularities especially with the outfit. The top part is of an athleisure wear while the bottom is of martial arts, a clear indication that they have been conjoined.
The body proportions are also irregular and have blurred edges which are indicative of digital manipulation.
