This photo shared on X (formerly Twitter) supposedly of Kenya’s Office of the President is SATIRICAL.
The image captures what appears to be a motor vehicle checkpoint and is accompanied by a text that reads: “Anyone looking for our president, kindly note.”
The image circulated on social media after media reports emerged indicating that Kenyan President William Ruto had made 38 foreign trips from September 2022 to October 2023.
Mtoto News conducted a Tineye reverse image search and established that the original photo is of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi Kenya.
In the original image, the banner is branded Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and not Office of the President, Kenya as is in the claim under investigation.
