An autopsy conducted on the body of Emmanuel Kimtai has revealed that the he was sodomised before being choked to death.
The 12-years old grade two pupil was dumped by a speeding car at Koilel area in Ainabkoi constituency on March 23.
The main suspect Eric Kiptoo Kipsang dropped off a sack with the body of a boy before speeding off to his home in Kapsoya, Eldoret town.
The man is alleged to have killed the young boy at his house and collected his blood in a bucket.
The police launched a man haunt after residence identified the car that had dropped the body.
Kiptoo was later arrested by police officers at a nearby dam where he was attempting suicide, after which he complained of chest pains and was taken to hospital. He was then pronounced dead on Sunday, March 26.
According to Ainabkoi OCPD Alois Muthoka, the suspect attempted suicide at a nearby dam, and appeared to be under influence of drugs.
The suspect was received by the police with deep cuts on both hands,” he said.
The family has asked philanthropists and the government to help them prepare for his burial as his mother is incapacitated.
