This poster shared on TikTok claiming that Carrefour Kenya is recruiting customer service agents is a HOAX.
Prospective applicants are required to provide a medical letter, curriculum vitae, passport photo and national identification card.
An email address and phone contact have been provided for interested persons to submit their applicants and make inquiries.
To confirm the advert’s authenticity, Mtoto News browsed through Carrefour Kenya’s Facebook page and X account (formerly Twitter), but there was no such advert.
On 9 October 2023, Carrefour disowned the poster and urged the public to disregard it.
“Beware of false job advertisements circulating on social media. Always verify openings through official channels to protect yourself from scams,” reads the post.
