The situation in Gaza is growing worse every day. Families are trapped without enough food, medicine, or safe places to go. Children are suffering the most, with many losing their lives due to hunger and illness. Hospitals are overwhelmed and running low on fuel, making it harder to treat the sick and injured. Every day, more people, including children, face the terrible choice of risking their lives to get food or watching their loved ones starve.
On July 22, 2025, Israeli attacks killed at least 81 Palestinians, including 31 people who were trying to receive aid. Since May, more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed while seeking food at humanitarian sites. Aid trucks bring some help, but many Palestinians are too scared to approach because of ongoing violence.
In the last few days, 21 children have died from starvation and malnutrition. Hospitals, like the largest one in Gaza, Al-Shifa, report that new cases arrive every moment, with doctors raising alarms about the increasing number of deaths caused by hunger.
The United Nations describes the crisis as “a horror show without parallel.” Malnutrition and starvation are knocking on every door in Gaza, and the humanitarian system is struggling to function. More than one million children in Gaza are going hungry, many of them without access to clean water or medicines.
The international community has demanded urgent action. Twenty-eight countries have called for an end to the war and safe delivery of food and medical aid. But as violence continues, the suffering grows worse for Gaza’s innocent children and families.
Without immediate help, more children will die from hunger, illness, and the dangers of war. The people of Gaza need peace, food, medicine, and hope.
