December 2, 2022

The exams are expected to end on 23rd December while marking will begin on January 2, 2023, and be completed on January 20.

The exams will be done under strict security measures and regulations set by Kenya National Examination Council to curb cheating and exams irregularities

Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development Chief Executive Officer Charles Ong’onda warned that having unauthorized phones in schools where exams are ongoing would result in the schools being declared to have committed examination irregularities.

He was speaking in Vihiga County where he was presiding over exam container opening at the deputy county commissioner’s offices in Luanda.

In line with the guidelines given by Kenya National Examination Council only centre managers are allowed to have their mobile phones on during the examinations.

Also, he warned that strangers should not be allowed into the examination centres urging teachers whose services are not needed to stay away.
