KCB Foundation Commences Scholarship Interviews Targeting 1000 Students

About 1000 students, 100 being students living with disabilities are set to benefit from KCB Foundation scholarships.

Through an advert inviting interested persons for interviews, the foundation said a four year scholarship will be offered to bright under-privileged students joining secondary school.

The interviews will be conducted on Friday January 13 and Saturday 14 January 2023 in all 47 counties.

Of the 1000 scholarships, 50 percent will be awarded to female students in a move the foundation said is its effort to promote inclusion and gender neutrality.

The foundation says it targets students from marginalized and disadvantaged areas, FGM champions, teenage mothers, girls rescued from early marriages and boys from regions highly affected by cattles rustling.

The full scholarship will include tuition fee, learning materials, transport and shopping.

In addition, the foundation also provides psychosocial support through mentorship opportunities in high school, apprenticeship and tertiary education levels.
