This poster circulating on Facebook claiming that Equity Bank Kenya has advertised several job opportunities is a HOAX.
The advert has listed 13 positions, each with distinct prerequisites, which encompass possessing a degree, completing a university or college program, holding a diploma, and successfully finishing the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
An email address has been provided for interested persons to submit their applications.
To confirm the advert’s authenticity, Mtoto News browsed through Equity Kenya’s Facebook page and X account (formerly Twitter) where it normally shares such vacancies, but the poster in question was non-existent.
On 23 October 2023, Equity disowned the poster, branding it fake.
According to the financial services provider, all its vacancies are listed under the career section on its website.
“Fake jobs alert. Please be informed that this job advert is not legitimate,” the bank posted.
