A family in Mwihoko Discovery Area in Kiambu County is grieving the death of their baby boy, Zayed Mukolwe who was found dead after going missing.
According to a poster by Missing Child Kenya, the young boy went missing on Sunday 6th August 2023 while playing with his friends just around the estate.
Reports indicate that most likely, someone must have failed to lock the gate, and he walked outside when no one was watching and entered another neighborhood.
He was last seen wearing a grey sweater, white pair of shorts with Adidas branding, and yellow Crocs according to the poster.
The incident was reported to the area police while friends and relatives were alerted.
On Monday 7th Missing Child Kenya reported that the three-and-half boy had been found but deceased.
Zayed Mukolwe uncle Anash Maloba on his social media post said his nephew was found dead in a septic tank. He shared that the family will share more details with time.
“The Baby has been found. Unfortunately, he has lost his life. He has been found in a septic tank… we do not know the circumstances that led to this but we shall share details in due course.”
Meanwhile a four-year-old boy from Kisii County was found dead after he went missing four days ago, on Tuesday, April 25.
A report by Citizen TV indicates that the boy’s body was found by a member of the public floating in a well. The body was taken to Akidiva Hospital mortuary.
Kuria West sub-county police commander Cleti Kimaiyo said the police were determined to unravel the mystery surrounding the boy’s disappearance.7
