Today is a special day. Not just any day your day.
World Children’s Day is all about celebrating you, your ideas, your dreams, and yes… your rights.
When I think about this year’s theme, “My Day, My Rights,” I imagine a big, bright sign held up by every child saying:
“Hey! Listen to me. I matter.”
And you do. You matter so much.
Sometimes adults forget this. Not on purpose, just because the world gets loud and busy. But today, the world slows down a little… and turns toward you.
Today is your chance to say:
And our job as adults?
To listen.
To protect you.
To cheer you on.
To let your light shine without dimming it.
So as we celebrate World Children’s Day, I hope you feel proud of who you are.
I hope you laugh a little louder, ask your big questions, share your wild ideas, and remind every adult around you that…
this is YOUR day and these are YOUR rights.
And not just today.
Every day.
